Be the Light in Someone’s Night
We are the Turkish Cultural Center of Long Island, a nonprofit dedicated to community service.This October, we’re thrilled to organize two food truck events – one in Manhattan and another in Long Island. Our goal is to provide hot meals and essential winter items, such as scarves, socks, and hand warmers, to those experiencing homelessness.

This initiative is unique due to our collaboration with the Turkish Cultural Center New York Youth Team, which empowers young individuals to make a significant impact through community service.

Your support is crucial. Donations will directly fund food and supplies, ensuring we can help as many people as possible. Every contribution makes a difference in warming hearts and changing lives.

Intercultural Ramadan Friendship Tent 2019
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Turkish Cultural Center, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Turkish Cultural Center Queens organizes 15th annual Intercultural Ramadan Friendship Tent between 45th & 46th street on Queens Boulevard where approximately 2000 free dinner meals would be served during the 3 day event on May 17, 18 and 19 of 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Turkish Cultural Center is dedicated to bringing people together to build long lasting friendship among people of different cultures and faiths. Ramadan is a month of sharing and improving neighborhood bonds in Islamic tradition.

Every year, the festival is well attended by different community members. Art and culture performances are offered such as live music and water marbling etc by local artists. Entertainments and activities are available for children to enjoy such as face painting, balloon twisting etc. For children, popcorn and apple candy are served.

At the dinner tables, people get to meet with new friends from different culture while they enjoy delicious food.

Local vendors offer shopping booths for people to purchase souvenirs, coffee, arts, and crafts etc.

NEED KITCHEN FOR COMMUNITY

Turkish Cultural Center Rochester, a non-profit organization, has been serving to our community for fifteen years by building strong relationships among different cultures, promoting diversity and empathy, creating awareness for key issues of our society and taking action steps to bring solutions to them. We have been hosting many events and serving lunch and dinners to all different parts of our community members and organizations. You most likely attended one of our events and enjoyed those delicious food and deserts. Now, we need your help! In order to better serve you, we will build a NEW KITCHEN at our cultural center. A new kitchen will increase our efficiency in serving food to our guests and program participants. Please help us build a new kitchen. Your donations and support are greatly appreciated. Please come, join us at one of our future events, and enjoy our amazing food.
