Revive The Palisades' Beauty: Support Replanting
The Idea:
In the aftermath of the Palisades Fires, almost all of the once green and luscious streets have been charred and burnt. Trees and greenery are required not only for the natural beauty of the Palisades but also to help mitigate the environmental impact these fires have caused. Trees and plants provide the very resource we need to sustain human life, Oxygen. Without them, the lingering smell of pollution and smoke will fill our lungs for years to come. Due to this, the Pacific Palisades requires replanting of its once beautiful greenery. In collaboration with Boy Scouts of Troop 2, the money raised will be used to purchase the necessary materials required for replanting. Volunteer efforts will be required to commence replanting, but Troop 2 and several other organizations have already expressed commitment to the effort. In collaboration with California State Senator Ben Allen, the necessary permissions and practices will be achieved. Please donate so we as a community can once again restore the beauty that our city was once known for.
