Tri-State Fellowship

In less than a month, I will be embarking on a 6 month endeavor serving the Lord in Glasgow Scotland at the Upper Room Church.

Upper Room Church is a community of mainly Iranian asylum seekers and refugees. They hold Church services in English and Farsi. It originally began as a Bible study in a flat. They outgrew that location and are now comprised of 250+ people, 80 people have joined since the start of quarantine alone. In addition to the church and Bible studies, they have started a social enterprise that allows refugees to start businesses and find employment, and are starting conversational English classes and training leaders within their own communities of like minded believers.

I will be teaching entrepreneurship classes to the refugee population in the area, and helping them to start their own businesses and become financially independent while teaching them about the Gospel. Additionally, I will be creating a connection with my home church to have youth and adult groups do missions work there in the future.

There are multiple ways you can support me. Please pray for me while I am gone, and for the people I will be serving, as well as right now while I am preparing for what to expect traveling in the midst of a pandemic. I will be sharing weekly updates about my experiences on Instagram and Facebook, as well as different ways you can pray for me and the community there.
