About Tri-State Equine Adoption & Rescue, Inc.
In 1998 we realized a need in our home state of Delaware for an equine rescue and adoption facility. We work with local humane officers and horse owners in finding homes for neglected or unwanted horses. We also attend low-end auctions and rescue horses going for slaughter, rehabilitate them if needed, and find them loving homes. Our goal is to raise public awareness to the plight of the slaughter bound horse and to place as many horses as possible in loving, adoptive homes.
