Hi, I’m Cassandra with Cassandra’s Creative Consulting, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for Travieso Dog Sanctuary—a heart-led refuge in Ensenada, Mexico that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abandoned and abused dogs. For years, Travieso has been quietly saving lives—feeding strays under trees, finding homes for street pups, and transforming what began as a “temporary hotel” for dogs into a full sanctuary.

Until now, everything at Travieso Dog Sanctuary has been powered by love — and Tamara’s own hard work, savings, and small gifts from friends and dog lovers. Tamara even transports dogs for adoptions in California once a month and provides ongoing veterinary care for all her adoptees. But with 20–30 dogs in her care at any given time, the need has grown far beyond what one person can sustain.

Thanks to the generosity of friends and supporters, Travieso Dog Sanctuary has now become an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit. For the first time, donations can be officially accepted, are tax-deductible, and will directly support the dogs who need it most.

We’re asking for your help to raise $25,000 to fund the sanctuary’s first full year of operations: providing food, medical care, spay/neuter services, shelter repairs, contractors, and transportation for rescues and adoptions.

Every gift makes a difference:

$25 feeds a dog for a week

$100 covers vaccinations and basic vet care

$250 provides spay/neuter and emergency medical support

$500 sponsors a full rescue-to-rehoming journey
