THVFD is all volunteer, wild land firefighters group supporting rural Tonto Hills in Maricopa County AZ.  Tonto Hills is surrounded on 3 sides by wild land desert. We can provide initial wild land firefighting assistance until Rural Metro the designated  fire service (7 miles away) arrives.  We have aging fire trucks and equipment that must be maintained, serviced regularly, and  insured. THVFD Tonto Hills has Firewise USA designation providing fire safety education. Funds raised support these services.
