Food support for disabled in rural Kenya - covid19

When I travel to Kenya I always visit some families homes with some of the staff/heroes in the Matibabu Disabled Empowerment program. I am always moved by their relationship and the improvement in the families situations over time. However, during this time of Covid-19, families with a disabled member face increased food insecurity and I am worried. There are 200 families in the Matibabu's Disability Empowerment Project. These families, with Matibabu's support, have been making great progress in their community. They are improving disability inclusion, and providing opportunities for mobility and employment. Let's make sure they have a little more support during this challenging time as hunger is now even a bigger challenge. $30 provides a family of eight with staples, a sense of connection, and hope. Gifts of any amount would be appreciated.
About the Tiba Foundation where I am honored to work: Tiba partners with Matibabu Foundation to build community healthcare in rural Kenya through a full-service hospital, community health programs, and a Health Sciences College. Matibabu empowers its local community to take control over their own health and well-being and is building the next generation of health workers.
