THORN Ministries reaches out the local poor through a mobile feeding outreach. We use this venue to teach volunteers how to collaborate with faith based ministries and create a mobile feeding outreaches. Currently, The Heart of Tampa Project runs a mobile feeding outreach which serves the homeless and needy. What began as a simple act of kindness one Thanksgiving has grown into the Heart of Tampa Project, which is currently serving over 400 weekly for over 2 decades. THORN teaches the works of mercy. We are a very physically active ministry who believe that we are not to cast judgment, but are being challenged to love unconditionally those GOD places before us. Most branches offer food, clothes, offer haircuts, hygiene supplies, first aid, prayer, friendship, and love.
