Therapy Horses Need A Roof NOW!
Hi friends,
Our hearts are heavy as we share that a devastating storm struck our farm, with lightning and fierce winds tearing through our farm and the barns our beloved horses call home. These aren’t just any horses, they are rescues, many once forgotten or discarded, now thriving as healers.
At the Therapeutic Riding Center of Western Maryland Inc., we care for over a dozen rescued and retired racehorses who have found a second chance by offering life-changing equine-assisted therapy to children with special needs. These horses provide comfort, confidence, and connection to kids who often feel isolated or overwhelmed by the world.
Now, they’re the ones in need of care.
Our large barn was destroyed, and we urgently need your help to rebuild a safe, warm roof over their heads.
