Theatre Lunatico

Theatre Lunatico is an ensemble physical theatre company devoted to narratives that place women center stage through the unique interpretive lens of our storytelling and commitment to gender parity casting. We combine theatre, dance, improvisation, movement, and voice to produce dynamic, intimate, immediate theater, with the aim of developing a deeper engagement, and inherently memorable connection, with our audiences. Theatre Lunatico is governed by a core group of volunteer artists who work collectively to manage the company. Since 2017, Lunatico has been the resident company at La Val's Subterranean Theater in Berkeley, CA, a 48-seat black box venue, where we produce all of our productions and sub-rent the theater to other local theatre companies for their productions.
