Theater Breaking Through Barriers is seeking your generous support to aid one of our longtime company members, Stephen Drabicki, whose family and community were recently devastated by Hurricane Helene in Asheville, North Carolina. As you can see from his video, Stephen's city was profoundly impacted by this disaster in ways which cannot truly be measured. Your generous support will assist Stephen, his infirmed mother, and his neighbors with necessary supplies and basic needs as he and his family navigate recovery from the devastation. Founded in 1979, Theater Breaking Through Barriers (TBTB) is the only professional Off-Broadway theater company dedicated to advancing artists with disabilities and altering the misperceptions surrounding disability by proving that disability does not affect the quality or integrity of our art or artists.

Disability is the only diversity that cuts across all racial, gender, social, and class distinctions. Disability knows no age, race, religion, gender, culture, or sexual orientation. As such, we view disability as a common ground, where the voices from every sector of our society can come together to be represented and expressed.
