About The Wild Animal Sanctuary

The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 40,000-acre sanctuary network with more than 1,000 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves, Jaguars, Leopards, Mustangs and other RESCUED animals. 95% of the animals come to The Wild Animal Sanctuary from State and Federal Law Enforcement agencies after they were confiscated from illegal or abusive situations. The Sanctuary travels across the United Staes and even into many foreign countries to save these majestic creatures from horrible abuse. Once they have been rescued, every animal is given a large natural habitat to live in with others of their own kind. The Sanctuary is the largest of its kind in the world and works to educate the public about causes and solutions to the plight of thousands of captive wildlife - both within the United States and abroad.
