About The Village Voices of Southern Nevada (501 c (3)

To cut the rate of recidivism. By removing the barriers that prevent a demographic of Black people and people of Color from advancing in life due to institutional racism that's embedded in the Criminal justice system, the penal system and mass incarceration, and over incarceration, wrongful incarceration. By removing these barriers due to the stigma associated with having a criminal record, will give this demographics of the community the much needed opportunity to be more productive and more self sufficient. We want to assist in providing hope, an a better alternatives than to indulging in criminal activities for survival. This is a win, w situation for all including the society at large.
