The Uniform Funding Foundation

This gofundme was specifically created in Honor of the loss of Gerard Fanta. All funds will go towards The Uniform Funding Foundation’s Scholar program at St. Ignatius High School. Gerard (Gerry) was an avid supporter of the work TUFF has been doing, his son Marty is a member of TUFF, and he would want his legacy to live on through this program.

Starting in August of 2024, The Uniform Funding Foundation (TUFF) will be helping 2 underserved youth student athletes pursue their dreams at St. Ignatius High School and support their lives after athletics.

Thank you for supporting this wonderful cause to make a difference in the lives of underserved youth athletes while honoring the legacy of Gerard Fanta.

We are raising $7,000 to provide custom Puma uniforms for 6 youth soccer teams of Tékane, Mauritania in North Africa. Whether you give $10, $25, $50, sponsor a uniform for $100, or share this campaign, you are helping young athletes in Tékane feel supported and proud to represent their teams

This fundraiser will cover custom uniforms for up to 90 players. The jerseys will be designed through a partnership between The Uniform Funding Foundation (TUFF) and Cortana Solutions.

The local DST Association has identified a need for better sports equipment, uniforms, and training resources for young athletes in Tékane. This campaign is our first step towards helping 6 teams take the field in real team uniforms.

Our $7,000 goal will cover:

Custom Puma uniforms for 6 youth teams: $5,000

Logistics, delivery, and processing costs: $2,000

We plan to personally carry the jerseys to Mauritania and deliver them directly to the teams. Every donation helps.

We will share updates, photos, and progress as the jerseys are ordered, packed, transported, and delivered. Thank you for helping make this possible and inspiring the next generation of youth athletes in Northern Africa!
