The Tun Tavern Legacy Foundation

Help The Lost Art with Andrew Cox Podcast raise $25,000 (representing the upcoming 250th birth of our beloved Corps) by donating $25 to support the building and re-establishment of “The Tun” a replica establishment of the original birthplace of the Marine Corps.

The Tun 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Mission:

To rebuild and re-establish The Tun as it was, a functioning mariner’s gathering place reminiscent of colonial Philadelphia, serving period-influenced refreshments, food, and entertainment and offering an educational experience through exhibits, historical documents, and special events.

All profits of the Tun will be donated in perpetuity to support veteran causes, Masonic charities, educational scholarships, and qualified charities as determined by The Tin Legacy Foundations’s independent Board of Directors.

I am raising money to provide a donation to the Tun Tavern Legacy Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to rebuild Tun Tavern so that it may stand once again in proximity to its original location as living monument to the organizations that were established here. These organizations, like the Marine Corps predate the United States and helped form the bedrock behind the freedoms we enjoy today.

Marines honor the memory of the Tun as the birthplace of our Corps, but the history of the Tun doesn't stop there. Immigrants from many countries found the Tun to be an establishment for collaboration, community, and hope for a better future. It is fitting for Marines and other patriots, that this monument be erected. Help me give a donation, together we can make an impact.
