The Summer Institute (TSI)
The Houston Charity Committee is proud to support The Summer Institute; a local charity that works with low income families to provide quality education for motivated students. Each summer, qualified teachers and volunteers come together to create the TSI Summer Program.
This is a five-week intensive course for students aged 11-14 years, covering math, science, language arts and wellness, in a structured learning environment. The course ends with a three day away camp, where students benefit from outdoor learning activities in the Texas countryside.
TSI Summer Program is reinforced with Saturday Sessions during the school year and a year round Parent Program, focusing on parental financial literacy and child development. SAT prep courses are also provided for 14-18 year old students.
Help us sponsor the Class of 2024 for Summer Camp! $200 covers food, lodging and transportation for 1 student.
