Ten years ago, on May 11th, I got recognized for holding a sign up that said, "Smile, you are beautiful," on Highway 224 in Park City.

"Smile, you are beautiful" was started after I lost a friend, Devin, who changed my life around when he said, "No matter what you are going through, all you need to do is smile because you are beautiful."

So, for this year on May 11th, I am celebrating the day that I got recognized and changed other lives as well as mine, but also bringing recognition and assistance to people who lost their battle to mental health or are going through their battle.
