The Seattle Seafair Clowns Foundation

The Seattle Seafair Clown Foundation is a 501(c)3 that is dedicated to assisting the Seattle Seafair Clowns spread joy and laughter throughout Seattle and the surrounding communities’ year around.

One of the trademarks of the Seafair Clowns is their 1954 General Fire Truck. The truck has been a means of transportation for the clowns since the 1960’s and has traversed the streets of the Puget Sound region for over 50 years. Just the sight of our big truck brings back fond memories for Seattle residents.

As with any vehicle that old, it needs some costly repairs. The new tires we need cost over $3,000 and that doesn’t even compare to the engine and brake work that is necessary and expensive. Though we conduct two fundraisers each year, we haven’t been able to generate enough funds to both fund our clowning activities and provide the immediate repairs needed for the fire truck.

With that said, we are bowing down to the public and asking for your help, so we can continue getting from place to place to spread joy and happiness to the wonderful people of the Pacific Northwest. Any funds collected beyond our goal will go towards the repair and maintenance of our other two clown vehicles.
