WAALY Boarders is fundraising

WAALY's campaign for The Rwandan Orphans Project
Dear Boarding Community,
As you all know Winter Holidays are coming soon. You will be celebrating Christmas, New Years, Hanukkah in the comfort of your home surrounded by friends and family. At this point it feels so normal to us that we take it for granted. Unfortunately, this luxury is not available for a lot of young kids out there. We were amazed by your participation in the Most Generous Boarding School competition where we managed to raise $20'000 for the School of Hope in Guatemala. This time, let's take it to another level.
We are starting a fundraiser for the Rwandan Orphans Project charity.
They run the Imizi Children’s Center in Rwanda. At Imizi they provide:
- Housing for up to 100 former street children and orphans
- Completely free primary education to more than 100 children from the community’s poorest families
- Workshops and training for parents and adults from around the area.
Money collected would go directly to the ROP which would allow them to pay for future school tuition, buy food and clothing for the children in the orphanage and Christmas presents!
We are announcing a new competition - Most Generous Santa. The rules are simple and familiar to you:
Donate ANY AMOUNT to ROP through this GofundMe page.
You can remain anonymous, put the name of the boarding school you go/went to if you’d like to rep it or your real name
The person that will donate the most in total (multiple donations are allowed and very encouraged) will be declared as the Most Generous Santa. Please be ready to provide proof of your donations either through bank payment confirmations or screenshots from GoFundMe.
We would like to emphasize once again that ALL donations are encouraged, regardless of size. Rwandan Orphans Project will put them to good use!
In partnership with Daimondi
