On January 22, 2021, pro-abortion activists in Columbus, OH, engaged in a brief, nonviolent direct action during a public & political anti-abortion gathering at St. Joseph Cathedral on the anniversary of Roe v Wade. Now the church & state are attempting to silence their voices by filing criminal charges against them.
Four of the organizers were charged & arraigned after the peaceful protest at St. Joseph's for speaking out about the Catholic Church's harassment & intimidation of patients at local abortion clinics.
We must do all we can to stop this abuse of power & protect those on the front lines of protests & abortion advocacy. Give what you can to support these organizers. Any amount makes a difference toward our goal of raising $20,000.
All funds raised will be used solely to cover the organizers' legal expenses and court fees. Together, we can offer community care & support to these four organizers who put their bodies on the line each day to protect abortion access & to fight for a better world.
