The H-STC protects, preserves and maintains the 140 mile Horse-Shoe Trail for hikers and equestrians forever.  From its founding in 1935, it remains a 100% volunteer organization. Donations are used to maintain the trail and to obtain easements from landowners to permanently protect the trail.
