The Gretchen Weller Foundation

Recently, cancer has had a significant impact on my life. On April 27, 2022, my father-in-law, Tom Bull, passed away from cancer. Nine days later, my mom passed away from cancer. A few weeks later, I discovered that one of my best friends, Jeff Newschwander, was diagnosed with brain cancer.

I felt like I needed to do something. Something to honor my mom and Tom, something to support Jeff, something to help me deal with everything, and something to give back and support the great people of this community, who have always been so good and supportive of my family.

I love to trail run and have decided to use that as an avenue for support. Over the next several months, I plan to run the Top 50 Trail Runs in the state (as ranked by All Trails) to raise awareness and support for The Gretchen Weller Foundation. I will document the runs on my Facebook page and Instagram and provide a link for donations to The Gretchen Weller Foundation. My goal is to raise at least $10,000 for the foundation through the course of the runs.
