Hello! My name is Anika Ebbert and I am a Life Scout from Troop 55 in Pasadena, CA. My upcoming Eagle project is working with the Gooden Center: a substance abuse and mental health treatment organization with facilities for men and women. Since 1962, Gooden has provided a safe rehabilitation space for community members of Los Angeles. With your help, we will re-do a backyard garden space for women, which includes replacing fencing, garden beds, and soil. Thank you for your continuous support and contributions!

Hello everyone!

The wait is finally over, and I am happy to be finally announcing the beginning of my Eagle Project Fundraising phase!

My Eagle Scout Service Project is in collaboration with The Gooden Center, a nonprofit substance abuse treatment, and mental health recovery center in Pasadena. The project will be focusing on the outdoor space of their residential treatment center on El Molino, which is used for group therapy and recreation. It will consist of the construction of three wooden benches, and laying down a small patio using concrete pavers. Improving their outdoor recreation space can help guide the patients to a swift and lasting recovery!

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. All funds will be used to purchase the materials and supplies needed for the project. Any funds raised in excess of the project expenses will be given to The Gooden Center. Thank you so much for your support!
