About The Fisher House of Greater Cleveland, Inc.
Greater Cleveland Fisher House is a nonprofit organization that supports the Cleveland VA Fisher House in providing a temporary "home away from home," free of charge, for military and veteran families while their loved one is receiving care at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center or other surrounding Cleveland-area hospital. Two Fisher Houses were built near the VA and each features 16 individual suites for families, plus common-use areas, such as a kitchen, laundry room, dining room, and living room. Families need to live 40-50 miles or more from the treatment facility to stay at Fisher House.
