The EVAN Foundation

Help us celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The EVAN Foundation by supporting our goal of raising $10,000! $10,000 is what it takes to launch an EVAN Foundation Treats & Treasures Cart in a pediatric oncology department at a large hospital. We are currently in 9 institutions across the country and look forward to launching in a 10th hospital to commemorate our 10th Anniversary!

In each participating hospital, a Child Life specialist or trusted volunteer visits every pediatric oncology patient with the Treats & Treasures Cart. Young patients and family members are empowered to select the items they want, all free of charge. This simple program has a profound impact on children and parents enduring incredibly challenging treatments. It provides the kids something to look forward to and the opportunity to be in control. The feeling of being in charge is a welcome respite in an environment where everything is being done to them. Many patients have shown their appreciation for the Treats & Treasures Carts by conducting toy drives benefitting the program when they are out of the hospital. We hope you will join them by supporting this campaign.

Our only child Evan and was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma at the age of 3. He was a wonderful son, full of love and brimming with potential. He fought this unrelenting cancer for 4 years until treatment failed him. Through the charity we founded in his name, we've dedicated the rest of our lives to spreading Evan's joy to other childhood cancer patients facing long and difficult hospital stays.
