Jeremy Chinn has been selected as the NFL Players Association’s Week 3 Community MVP after he hosted a season kickoff celebration for about 90 teenagers experiencing homelessness in Nevada.

The special event featured a dinner, live DJ set, an interactive football game, free haircuts and a meet-and-greet with Chinn, making for a fun evening filled with community spirit. By teaming up with Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid and HELP of Southern Nevada's Shannon West Homeless Youth Center (SWHYC), each attendee also received a set of essential items, including a drawstring backpack, shorts, hoodie and athletic sandals.

"It's an honor to be a part of something that brings joy and support to these incredible young people," the Las Vegas Raiders safety said. "Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued and supported — and events like this remind us of the power of community and compassion."

Supporting individuals and families affected by homelessness is the core mission of the Jeremy Chinn Foundation. The cause is personal for Chinn, who saw his aunt struggle with homelessness during his childhood. Since reaching the NFL in 2020, he has used his platform to

provide practical assistance and resources through events in his team cities to help individuals (particularly youth) transition out of homelessness.

In recognition of Chinn being named NFLPA Community MVP for Week 3, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) will donate $10,000 to the Jeremy Chinn Foundation. Along with the other Community MVPs from this season, he will also be eligible for the Alan Page Community Award, which is the NFLPA’s highest player honor and includes an additional $100,000 donation.

As part of a new supporting partnership with GoFundMe, the world’s leading fundraising platform, fans can now also make a difference by contributing to the NFLPA Community MVP’s selected nonprofit. All contributions are tax-deductible, and funds will go directly to the player’s nonprofit.
