Community Foundation Boulder County

We are students at Boulder and Fairview High Schools who have come together to support our classmates, teachers, and loved ones who have been affected by the Marshall Fire. All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to the Community Foundation of Boulder County. Thank you for your support!

Engel & Völkers is absolutely devastated to see the loss around our community as a result of the suburban Marshall Fire in Boulder County.

 

The fire is thought to have consumed nearly 1000 homes, and has displaced even more families. Engel & Völkers Denver is mobilizing to help direct funding to The Community Foundation in Boulder to fund the rebuilding efforts in the communities we know and love. Many of us have friends, family, and clients who have been affected and displaced by the fires, and we are asking everyone we know to help.

 

The Community Foundation is a local Boulder non-profit, and we chose this organization as our non-profit to support because of their ability to fund the community directly to those who have experienced loss. Every penny matters, so whether you can spare $5, or $5000, we appreciate any donation you can make to help.

On December 30th, 2021 the most destructive wildfire in the state's history, the Marshall fire, destroyed nearly 1,000 homes in Boulder County. Fast moving wildfires burned over 6000 acres destroying homes, a hotel and a shopping center. Over 35,000 were evacuated, most with less than 10 minutes notice given how quickly the fires were spreading.

 

Residents had only enough time to grab documents, their pets and leave the area. Entire neighborhoods burnt to the ground in just minutes.

TAG Restaurant Group would love to give back to our community that has literally lost everything.

 

Can you imagine having absolutely nothing except the clothes on your back? There are 1084 families now living that reality and starting from scratch. It will take years to rebuild, but we can help today. Please consider helping us help them....the world could use a little more love.

More than 30,000 people were evacuated from their homes. Our neighbors will need both short-term and long-term assistance. Community Foundation Boulder County is a trusted partner with a long track record of meeting the community's needs in times of crisis. The Boulder County Wildfire Fund will support the immediate needs of Coloradans impacted by the fires and provide the support needed in the months and years to come.

Money raised from this fundraiser go directly to the Community Foundation of Boulder County.

On Dec 30, Colorado's Marshall Fire displaced 33,000 of our closest neighbors. Though A-T's Lafayette office was thankfully spared, the fire ultimately burned nearly 1,000 nearby homes in about 6 hours.
