Walking for Breast Cancer
Awareness
Why I'm Doing This
This walk is deeply personal to me. I am taking on the challenge of walking from London to Manchester in support of breast cancer awareness, inspired by a close friend who has faced breast cancer with incredible strength, courage, and determination.
Watching someone you care about go through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery changes you. It highlights not only how common breast cancer is, but also how vital early detection, ongoing research, and emotional support are for those affected and their families.
This walk is my way of showing support for my friend and for the thousands of people who face breast cancer every year.
The Challenge
• Route: London to Manchester
• Distance: Approximately 200 miles
(320 km)
Duration: 8 days
• Start Date: 1st September 2026
This will be a demanding physical and mental challenge, but every step will be taken with purpose — to raise awareness, spark conversations, and help fund vital breast cancer initiatives.
What Your Support Means
All funds raised will go towards breast cancer awareness and support, helping to:
• Promote early detection and screening
• Support those undergoing treatment and recovery
• Fund research into prevention, treatment, and cures
• Provide education and resources for individuals and families
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
How You Can Help
• Donate if you're able — every pound truly counts
• Share this page to help spread awareness
• Leave a message of encouragement - it will mean a lot during the walk
If this page helps even one person check themselves, attend a screening, or feel less alone, then this journey will be worth it.
