The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh

On November 6th, I will be running the New York City Marathon. I was lucky enough to gain entry to the race through the New York Road Runners lottery. While my entry in the race is already guaranteed, I've decided to use the event as a reason to raise money for a cause that is special to me and deserves the attention of all. For the past three years my brother, C.W., has volunteered at the Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. This heart warming organization helps children and the families of severely developmentally challenged children, ones with pediatric rehabilitation and therapy needs, and supports permanent home placement especially for children with physical, emotional and intellectual disabilities.  I encourage everyone to read more about The Children's Institute on their website.

The money I raise will go directly to helping the children, their families, volunteers, and employees of this truly Amazing organization. Their national and regional footprint can be improved with the dollars raised. It is the volunteers and employees that deserve all the credit. I just hope my contribution will be a small step toward many more achievements.

My goal is to raise $2600,  $100 per mile of the marathon. Please do whatever you can to help us improve the lives of these truly Amazing children. Donate! Share! Like!
