$5 = 15 MEALS! September is Hunger Action Month and we are asking you to please take action by making a High Five donation to help us feed local families .

Money donated to our Fourth Annual High Five for $5 Fundraiser will help us cover our food and food transportation costs this fall and winter.

 

Prior to the pandemic, our pantry was serving 1,000 individuals a month. Since late 2020 and throughout 2021 the number of people needing our assistance has more than doubled. We now find ourselves serving as many as 2,500 individuals a month. The families in the Greater Brockton area continue to need your help.

 

You can make a difference by donating today to The Charity Guild Food Pantry. The Charity Guild is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Food Pantry and Thrift Shop established in 1971. Our mission is "to provide basic and necessary services to those unable to meet their primary needs of food, clothing and household goods." September is Hunger Action Month and we're asking you to please join us as we raise awareness and funds to help feed those in need in the Greater Brockton area. 

2020 has brought so many challenges and sadly with unemployment on the rise our food pantry is busier than ever before. We are serving significantly more new families (an 150% increase) and the need for home deliveries has increased by 100%. 

Our food pantry has always been  supported by dedicated volunteers who are 65+ and retired. Now with this age group being at high risk during this pandemic our 65+ volunteers are staying at home to take care of themselves and their loved ones. 

To keep up with the increase in need, we have hired new team members to keep our pantry up and running.
