For 131 years, The Cavalier Daily has served as the first draft of history for the University of Virginia and Charlottesville communities. As we now navigate college life during a global health pandemic, it is more important than ever for us to stay connected, listen to each other’s stories and hold our leaders accountable – but we need your help.
Facing a severe loss in funding and advertising revenue due to the pandemic, The Cavalier Daily has joined forces with Virginia Tech's Collegiate Times to print a special Rivalry Edition and to see which program can raise the most money between now and Dec. 12 (the date of the UVA-VT football game).
As an independent, non-profit student newsroom that receives no money from the University, we rely on contributions from readers like you.
