Caribbean American Assoc of Lake Cty Scholarships
The Education Committee of The Caribbean American Association of Lake County (CAALC) is raising money to benefit our scholarship program.
The Caribbean American Association of Lake County is a premier non-profit organization that serves the local community through galvanizing the Caribbean diaspora, giving back, and enhancing the lives of our members and young people!
It was Nelson Mandela who said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” We believe this wholeheartedly here at CAALC as our young people are truly the next generation of thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and pioneers of the future.
Over the course of 20 years we have provided two to five $1,000 scholarships a year for young people of Caribbean heritage. This year is no different, and we are raising the bar and working diligently to extend our reach to impact the lives of ten (10) students by providing some financial relief with a scholarship as they look to college and furthering their education.
