Help us beautify our playground!
The Children’s House Montessori School playground is an integral part of our students’ day, and it is also publicly available to the community in the afternoon and on weekends. It is a central part of downtown Camden and we would like to improve the way it looks for our kids and for the community.
Now that the ground has thawed and fresh wood chips have been spread, our staff and Board has taken stock of the state of the school playground. Together, we have identified several areas that need further investment. These include:
- Replacing the CedarWorks playset that has fallen into disrepair with a new play structure
- Landscaping and replenishing the school gardens
- Improving the toddler outdoor play area
Over the next month, we are aiming to raise $5,000 to put these projects into action. This initiative will be fully funded by our community so any donation amount is greatly appreciated.
Please help us improve our playground and continue to provide the children of our community with a fun, safe and beautiful area to enjoy!
