More information about The Bridge Family Center, Inc. (The Bridge): Formed in 1969 to help youth engaged in high-risk behaviors, the Bridge today is a comprehensive, regional nonprofit agency offering a broad range of services to children and families in Greater Hartford. We have 45 residential beds for young people; three mental health clinics that serve children, families, and adults; a Teen Center; and a nationally recognized Family Resource Center. Last year, we served more than 11,000 children and families. Our mission is to foster the courage and strength in children and families to meet life's challenges and build fulfilling lives.
