The Bridge Between Animal Rescue

The Bridge Between Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that began in January of 2022. Since we began, we have operated as a a foster-based rescue, which means we can only save animals when we have a foster home for them. When we started this fundraiser back in November of 2023, we had only saved 208 dogs and cats. We are now up to 362, but that number would be even higher with the completion of this building. Our rescue has grown tremendously in such a short amount of time.

With growth comes a lot of pressure to do more. We have made many new shelter partners, and have reached many people throughout our communities. This has led to an increase in pleas for help. We receive multiple messages daily about helping animals in need. We want to save so many lives, but are so limited due to being a foster based rescue. There have been many times where we have taken animals in without fosters lined up just to save their life, even if we have no where for them to go. It is stressful, but we'd do it over and over to save more lives. It has been a dream of ours to have a true "bridge between" building where animals can go even if we do not have a foster for them. Here they can quarantine, start their medical care, receive a bath to wash away their past, and safely wait for a foster home without ever having to worry about being euthanized. A facility for us would mean many more lives saved. Our team has been touring shelters across the Carolinas all year, and it's incredibly hard for us to walk out empty handed because we don't have a foster home. This building would change that. We've been fundraising for about 10 months now, and would love if we could complete this first phase of our fundraising goal before we hit one year of fundraising.

Our concrete has officially been poured, which means this is really happening, and we need your help to finish bringing this dream to life! Phase one of fundraising is going to include getting our building on our property, and finalizing all of the work that goes toward completing the build, (insulation, electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc). Phase two will come later on, which is when we will fundraise for the supplies needed to complete the building. Any amount towards helping us complete this first phase is greatly appreciated.
