Hi, I’m Felicity Vera, and I’m raising $600 in honor of my 6 year breast cancer diagnosis anniversary, which also coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I'm excited to share my passion for supporting The Breasties Inc., a remarkable organization dedicated to uplifting individuals affected by breast and gynecologic cancers. This nonprofit is the first of its kind to foster an inclusive community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers. Together, we can work towards improving the experiences and well-being of those impacted by this disease.

Katie Rabinowitz is fundraising
Katie Runs the Boulderthon for The Breasties
I, Katie Rabinowitz, the girl who was never ever a runner, is now training to run the Bouderthon on October 8th, 2023. Seeing as though October is the "pink" month of it all, it seems fitting to be running this long 26.2 miles for one of the best causes near and dear to me - The Breasties Inc.

A breast cancer diagnosis at age 32 in the middle of a global pandemic was not something I had in the cards. The only people I knew who knowingly had the BRCA gene and had gone through something similar were much older than me and in much different stages of life. I had no idea what I was in for or how to handle it all until I found The Breasties.

This community of badass amazing women got me through it with the words of wisdom, advice, and support. It was the community I didn't know I so desperately needed at the time. And since they helped me get through the hardest time of my life, the least I can do is something sort of hard to give back.

So, while I was going to keep my marathon training fairly private in case I didn't make it, I'm committing to it now and would love for you to contribute to the cause and follow along on my journey!

obéFORWARD to benefit The Breasties

obéFORWARD presents a LIVE 45-minute pilates class to show love for all who are struggling with breast cancer. The class will benefit The Breasties, an organization that provides support, community, and aid to breast cancer patients of all ages.

Class will be taught by Mary Wolff with special guest and obé crew member, Bianca Muñiz. Bianca will end class with an acoustic performance of her single, "As You Are".

When: Monday 10/19 @ 8:00-8:45 pm EST
