Want to join us in making a difference? My name is John Bolte, President of The Board of Trustees for Branches Outreach. We are raising money to benefit The Branches Outreach, specifically our Emergency Fund. Any donation will help make an impact.
The Branches Outreach (501c3) mission is to provide services and programs for the relief of the poor, distressed, and underprivileged residents of Cape May County and to provide the daily needs of our guests with dignity and respect.
Our Emergency Fund is used for distressed people with an immediate need. Short-term shelter and larger emergencies like “Code Blue”. When Cape May County declares a Code Blue, the weather is less than 32 deg F. We expand our hours to cover the morning and afternoon needs of the underserved: food, warm clothes, and we are designated as a drop-off and pick-up point for those waiting to be transported to a designated warming centers for the night. It’s important to remember that in just January of 2022 there were 28 days designated as Code Blue. The need is real and we want to be fully prepared to meet that need, as well as the other daily emergencies we encounter.
