Pitching for a Cause: Support The Boston Home
I am excited to announce that I will be pitching an inning at the 30th Annual Oldtime Baseball Game scheduled to be held on August 22, 2024 at St. Peter’s field in Cambridge.
This event is a celebration of baseball in the old days when players wore flannel uniforms and fans surrounded their local teams field to root them on. Each year the game is played on behalf of a local charity. This year’s game will benefit “The Boston Home”which is local a non-profit residence and resource center for adults with advanced neurological disorders, primarily multiple sclerosis.
Former Red Sox star’s Jonathan Papelbon and Lou Merloni are also expected to make an appearance. Lou will be the recipient of the 2024 Montalbano Award, which is an award presented annually to a former player who exemplifies strong spirit, competitiveness and good nature.
