Black Swan Academy is proud to celebrate it's 10th year of impact in the District of Columbia!
As a new member of the Board of Directors, I want to ensure that they have the resources "to create the next pipeline of youth leaders who are committed to transforming themselves and their community."
VISION
BSA envisions a world where Black youth powered by their lived experiences are equipped with the tools and opportunities to be active decision makers and leaders that drive social change for the liberation of all people.
We train 6th-12th graders to advocate for themselves and their communities.
We raise awareness on social issues disproportionately affecting Black people, and highlight the many positive examples that are often over looked.
We advocate for the elimination of structural barriers impacting the Black community.
