The Times Are Racing
Come join us TUESDAY, JUNE 30 at 3PM EST (12PM PST) and learn choreography from Justin Peck's iconic sneaker ballet, THE TIMES ARE RACING. One of the most buzzed-about creations of the last decade, this piece draws inspiration from the youth's impulsive reaction to today's social climate.
This class will be taught by New York City Ballet's Ballet Master and Justin Peck repetiteur, Craig Hall. With a minimum donation of $20, each donor will be emailed an exclusive Zoom link to the class. Come prepared with your favorite pair of sneakers and streetwear attire.
*The Zoom link will be sent in an email from GoFundMe on Monday. Please be sure to check all email folders. Donations have been coming in at different times; so if you do not receive your Zoom link by 6PM EST on Monday, June 29, please reach out to us via Instagram Direct Messages (@jeraldm or @dylanrgutierrez) or through the "Contact" button under Organizer.
100% of the donations will be directly sent to the Black Star Project.
The Black Star Project is a non-profit, action-based organization that provides educational services, designed to improve the lives of less-advantaged Black communities and close the racial academic achievement gap. Focusing on the south and west sides of Chicago, TBSP strives to eliminate the economic disparities by exposing the youth to skills and resources, in order for them to become financially independent global citizens.
