About The Big Fat Tip, Inc

To surprise people working in the U.S. service industry with unusually large gratuities. These are total random acts of kindness! The intended level of these tips is to be at a minimum of $1,000. We select the establishments at random and give the big fat tip to whoever is assigned to us when we patronize the business. No one at The Big Fat Tip® receives compensation; all work is done through volunteers. The founder of our organization paid for the start-up administrative costs out of her pocket and continues to support the organization's administrative costs through self-funding and small grants. We work with a very lean operating budget. When people donate to The Big Fat Tip®, their money is going straight to these tips!
