Charity: This year I’ll be partnering with the Arizona Housing Fund to help bring awareness and funds to combat the homelessness/housing crisis in Arizona. The fund vets and grants funding to the nonprofit agencies that build and operate affordable supportive housing in AZ. The goal is to provide resources so more units can be constructed to meet the growing needs of our communities and reduce the number of people experiencing homelessness. Any donations are welcome and will be put to great use in our community.

4x4x48 Event: This event was created by David Goggins four years ago with a dual purpose as a fundraiser and a physical test to help people discover what their minds and bodies are capable of accomplishing. The concept is to start on a Friday at 8pm and run four miles every four hours for forty-eight hours which gives you a total of 48 miles logged over the weekend. This year I'll be putting my own spin on it by partnering with Sol Crossfit to incorporate a Crossfit style workout every four hours instead of doing the run. I understand that the time commitment to train and execute the event isn’t for everyone. However, by starting the event at our gym and doing the workouts there every four hours, the event is opened up for people to participate in as many of the workouts as they would like!
