Support Creativity and Independence at The Arc of the Capital Area's Art and Education Program!
The Arc of The Capital Area is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals ages 18 and above with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Austin area. The Arc offers a variety of programs that help individuals and families with education, art, and personal growth. Our Art and Education program offers a unique alternative to traditional day programs, providing a safe, inspiring space where Indvidual's can develop skills, explore their creativity, and grow in independence.
Our goal is to raise $1,000 to support these life-changing programs. Here's what your donations can accomplish:
- Equip 65 Arc artists with essentials supplies for a month
- Cover the cost of four educational classes each month, focusing on skill development and personal growth.
- Provide access to a career readiness class for an individual, preparing them for professional opportunities.
- Sponsor expenses for a group career readiness program, enhancing teamwork and career focused skills.
- Fund community engagement activities that promote confidence and social skills.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward sustaining these programs, helping individuals with disabilities thrive in competitive environment by fostering independence, building valuable skills, and achieving their professional goals.
