Hannah's Half Marathon for the Animal House Rescue
On the 29th of June I will be running the Victoria Park Half Marathon and I am asking for donations in support of the Animal House Rescue.
Since November last year I have had the privilege to volunteer at the Animal House Rescue cat shelter, and it has undoubtedly been my highlight of each week. This Birmingham based charity works tirelessly to rehome injured, abused and homeless animals, to fund any necessary veterinary treatment carried out including spaying and neutering, and to educate the public on animal care and welfare. With the increase in abandoned animals post Covid and the rise to the cost of living, the charity is inundated with high vet bills and food costs.
Therefore any donation is greatly appreciated, or have a look on the Animal House Rescue website to see how you can help in other ways such as donating clothes to their shop in Blackheath, fostering or even adopting!
Training for this half marathon and volunteering with the cats has brought so much joy to my life. I hope that you can help in any way that you can! Thank you!
