Help Us Support Easterseals Lonestar at the 2024 City Wide Hold Up!

We are the Texas Wranglers, a UT Austin student organization dedicated to philanthropy and community service. Since 1998, we have proudly hosted our annual City Wide Hold Up event, raising an incredible $475,000 for Easterseals Lonestar, a nonprofit organization that strives to provide life-changing services to individuals with disabilities.

This year, our goal is to make the 2024 City Wide Hold Up the most successful yet! On Sunday, November 17th, we will meet at Victory Lap in West Campus for instructions, breakfast, and some opening remarks. Next, we will commence a 3-hour fundraiser across Austin, where volunteers will collect donations on intersections. Afterward, we'll celebrate our efforts at Victory Lap with music, drinks, food, and fun!

Easterseals provides essential services and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and quality of life. Your generous contributions will directly benefit this incredible organization and the people they serve.

Texas Wranglers 2024 City Wide Hold Up

Texas Wranglers is a service and social organization on campus at UT Austin. We were founded by UT students who had a vision of forming a group that affords students an opportunity to make lifelong friends from all walks of life; to become a student leader through community involvement; to broaden one's network throughout the student body; and gain the strength of character, mind, and body to overcome any adversity.

City Wide Hold Up is the annual fall philanthropy event of the Texas Wranglers, which benefits Easterseals Lonestar. This event was the original idea of Marence Daniel Anderson who became a Wrangler in the Fall of 1996. Unfortunately, M.D. passed away before his vision was realized, but his closest friends and family became determined to fulfill his dream. Since the first City Wide Hold Up, when the original goal of $10,000 was smashed, the Texas Wranglers has been dedicated to improving the event and improving the lives of the people served by Easter Seals, whose dedication over the last 22 years has enabled us to raise over $475,000.
