Texas Homeward Bound Animal Rescue has spent years saving dogs and cats across Houston — from street corners, abandoned lots, and crisis situations where no one else could step in. Every animal we’ve rescued has pushed us closer to one goal:
**Building a real rescue facility — a safe place for medical care, recovery, and adoption.**
Right now, we operate out of our home and borrowed spaces. We’ve taken in animals like:
**Carmen**, the mama dog who protected her newborns under a shed
**Cheddar**, who survived neglect and learned to trust again
**Crypto, Sushi, Haru, and Lady**, who each came to us broken, scared, or unwanted — but found hope through community support
These animals deserve a space designed *for* them — somewhere warm, clean, safe, and built to save more lives.
