Support Tekoa Elementary's Arts Program
Dear Tekoa Families,
We hope this message finds you and your loved ones well. We’re excited to invite you to be part of something colorful, joyful, and meaningful at Tekoa Elementary School — our Second Color Run Fundraiser
This high-energy event promises to be a blast of fun and color for students, families, and our entire community. As participants jog, walk, or run through the course on the elementary school baseball fields, they’ll be showered with bursts of vibrant colored powder — symbolizing the creativity and energy that your support helps bring into our classrooms. Last year we paid for 6 visits from Mrs. Perry as well as new recorder books for 4th and 5th grade and Music curriculum for our K-3 students.
But beyond the fun, there’s a powerful purpose: our goal is to raise $5,000 to support Tekoa Elementary thriving arts program. Every dollar you help raise will go directly toward enhancing your child’s education through:
Art with Mrs. Perry – Our visiting artist from Spokane will continue inspiring students with hands-on creativity.
Music education – Instruments, recorders, and materials to ensure every child experiences the joy of music.
We believe that the arts are not just enrichment — they are essential. They teach creativity, confidence, collaboration, and expression. And your involvement helps us continue offering these vital programs.
How You Can Help:
Our goal: $5,000 — just $50 per student would get us there!
Return donations by Thursday, May 22, 2025
Encourage your child to ask grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, and coworkers to sponsor them. However, please remember: no door-to-door fundraising is allowed for safety reasons.
We would love to see you there — cheering, volunteering, or joining the fun! Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and let’s come together as a community that believes in joyful learning and artistic growth.
Thank you for helping us make this event successful, meaningful, and memorable for every Tekoa student!
With appreciation,
Tekoa Elementary School
