TC West Robotics Boosters

The TC West Robotics Boosters proudly support the growing community of FIRST® robotics teams on Traverse City’s west side -- from our youngest innovators in elementary school to future engineers and leaders at Traverse City West Middle and Traverse City West Senior High.

Our mission is to inspire students through hands-on STEM education and competitive robotics, offering real-world learning experiences that shape confidence, creativity, and collaboration. We support teams in FIRST® Lego League (elementary), FIRST® Tech Challenge (middle school), and FIRST® Robotics Competition (high school), helping students explore science and technology in a fun, challenging, and team-driven environment.

Funds raised go directly toward what powers our programs: robot parts, tools and materials, team uniforms, competition fees, and travel. Our dedicated mentors donate their time and expertise to help students build both hard and soft skills that stay with them long after graduation -- whether their path leads to college, careers, or military service.

High school team members also give back by mentoring younger students and supporting other local teams, creating a culture of leadership, learning, and community impact.
