About Tailwind Rescue

Tailwind Rescue started with two siblings, Katie and Teddy, and a shared belief that every animal deserves a second chance. What began as a simple desire to help quickly grew into a mission to save dogs and cats who are most at risk of being euthanized in overcrowded, high-kill shelters. Every day, healthy and loving animals lose their lives simply because there isn’t enough space, time, or resources. We refuse to accept that as their fate. Tailwind Rescue exists to step in when time is running out, to pull animals from high-risk shelters, provide safe foster homes, and ultimately place them with families who will love them for life. Each rescue represents a life spared, a family made whole, and proof that compassion can change outcomes. With your support, we can we make this happen.
