Preserve Syracuse Polish Community Archives
The Syracuse Polish Home possesses historical materials and cultural resources that date to the founding of the Syracuse Polish Community Home in 1919 and prior.
The Foundation seeks to preserve these treasures (photos, costumes, chronicles, records, tapes, artifacts) to make them available to future generations and researchers who share their interest in the history of the Syracuse Polish immigrant and the Polish-American community as a whole.
Funds will be used to purchase archival supplies, independent HVAC/climate control for the area which houses the archives and exhibits, steel shelving, automation for database maintenance, upgrades to the electrical system, and more.
